Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday for many reasons. It's a time of year when I get to spend a lot of time with family, catching up on what's new and reminiscing about old times. Unlike many people I know, I LOVE all of the corny Christmas music, and I've been having a blast decorating the house and tree to a background of "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer". I also let myself indulge in sweets a little bit more than usual! Pumpkin pie you say? Bring it on! First and foremost though, it's a celebration of Christ's birth, and stepping back from all of the holiday hustle and bustle and reminding myself of that can be very comforting when I start to feel overwhelmed.
And, as most of you know, I got married this past April, so this was Jason and I's first Christmas together as a married couple! We share holidays with our family, and this year we hosted Christmas at our house with my in-laws and nephew. Enjoy the pics and our Charlie Brown Christmas tree!
Please don't judge me for the bare walls, still getting the place in order (even though I've been here seven months, haha). It's a VERY slow work in progress! :)
